Vintage2022
This village-level Chablis Vieilles Vignes from Domaine Roland Lavantureux is made from old-vine Chardonnay grown on the Kimmeridgian limestone soils that define the appellation's classic, steely style. The Lignorelles estate, founded in 1978 and now run by Roland's sons Arnaud and David, is known for precise, terroir-focused winemaking across its village, premier cru and grand cru Chablis. Bottled at 12.5% alcohol in the 2022 vintage, expect citrus, green apple and a mineral, slightly saline finish typical of unoaked Chablis. It is a versatile, food-friendly white, ideal with oysters, grilled fish, or a simple goat cheese salad.
