Vintage
Petite Chapelle is a premier cru of Gevrey-Chambertin lying directly below the grand cru Chapelle-Chambertin, and one of the two premiers crus farmed by Domaine Marchand-Grillot. The estate was formed by the 1950 marriage of the Marchand and Grillot families, growers here across seven generations; Jacques Marchand heads it, Étienne Marchand has made the wines since 2009 and Marion Marchand runs the commercial side. The wine is Pinot Noir, grown without synthetic herbicides or pesticides for more than twenty-five years. Expect dark cherry, violet and warm spice with silky, well-integrated tannins. Serve with roast lamb, pigeon or a mature cheese. Select your preferred vintage above.
