Vintage2022
This Pinot Noir comes from the En Barberon parcel in the Côtes du Jura, made by Bénédicte and Stéphane Tissot at Domaine André et Mireille Tissot, based at Montigny-lès-Arsures, a commune within the Arbois appellation in the Jura. Pinot Noir in the Jura gives lighter, more delicate wines than in Burgundy, with bright red fruit, a subtle earthiness and fine tannins, here at a moderate 12.5% alcohol in the 2022 vintage. The En Barberon soils lend minerality and precision. The estate works parcel by parcel and has been certified organic since 1999 and certified biodynamic by Demeter since 2004. Serve slightly cool with roast duck, charcuterie, or mushroom risotto.
