Vintage2023
Les Belles Filles is a lieu-dit in Pernand-Vergelesses, the Côte de Beaune village tucked behind the Corton hill, and this white bottling comes from Pascal Clément, a former Domaine Coche-Dury winemaker who launched his own micro-négociant venture in 2012 focusing on village-level Burgundy, particularly whites. Made from Chardonnay, the 2023 vintage, at 13% alcohol, shows citrus, orchard fruit and a mineral edge typical of Pernand-Vergelesses. Pascal favours native-yeast fermentation and natural malolactic conversion, working non-interventionally across the fifteen growers' parcels he selects each vintage. Pair this white with grilled fish, roast chicken or a fresh goat cheese.
