Vintage2022
Fourchaume is one of Chablis' most highly regarded premier cru climats, located on south-facing slopes on the right bank of the Serein river, and this 2022 bottling from Domaine Roland Lavantureux is Chardonnay grown on the region's characteristic Kimmeridgian limestone soils. The Lignorelles-based estate, founded in 1978 and now run by Roland's sons Arnaud and David, is known for classic, precise Chablis with real terroir transparency. Bottled at 12.5% alcohol, expect a steely, mineral white with citrus, green apple and a flinty edge typical of top Chablis premier crus. Pair with oysters, seafood, or a creamy goat cheese for a textbook Chablis match.
