Vintage2022
Pinot Noir grown in the Côtes du Jura by Domaine des Marnes Blanches, the Sud-Revermont estate of Pauline and Géraud Fromont, is lighter in build than the Burgundian version across the Saône. The vines sit on the marl and limestone that give the domaine its name, worked by hand with the rows ploughed. The wine is fresh and juicy, with red cherry, cranberry and a light peppery spice, at modest alcohol. Serve it with a slight chill, in the local manner, alongside charcuterie, roast poultry or a mild Jura cheese.
