Vintage
Bâtard-Montrachet is a grand cru of about twelve hectares straddling the boundary of Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet, planted to Chardonnay. Domaine Bachelet-Ramonet has been run by Alain and Marie-Paule Bonnefoy since 1984; the vineyards are farmed under lutte raisonnée, with the soils worked in place of herbicides, and the whites are raised in oak barrel with bâtonnage. Ripe stone fruit and honeyed almond over the firm mineral line of the site. It goes with roast turbot, langoustines or a triple-cream cheese. Select your preferred vintage above.
