Vintage2016
This vintage Extra Brut from Egly-Ouriet is a grand cru Champagne from the Ambonnay grower house, run by Francis Egly since 1982, whose vineyards take in the Montagne de Reims villages of Ambonnay, Bouzy and Verzenay. It is fermented on native yeasts and given the estate's long lees ageing. Expect ripe citrus, orchard fruit, brioche and a chalky, mineral finish, the low dosage leaving it dry. Serve with shellfish, roast fish or a rich poultry dish.
