Domaine Philippe Colin's Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru En Remilly comes from a Premier Cru climat on the upper slope at the northern edge of the commune, on the boundary with Saint-Aubin and Puligny-Montrachet. The domaine, which has farmed sites across Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin and Santenay since 2004, ferments its whites in stainless steel and ages them twelve to fifteen months in French oak, with 20 to 25 percent new wood. Expect citrus, white flowers and a taut mineral finish. Best enjoyed with white Burgundy's classic partners: turbot, lobster, or a rich beurre blanc sauce. Select your preferred vintage above.
