Les Charmes is the largest of Meursault's premiers crus by surface area, and this bottling from Domaine Fabien Coche is Chardonnay raised in barrel. Expect ripe orchard fruit, toasted almond and a broad palate closing on the mineral note the appellation gives. Fabien Coche runs this Meursault domaine, founded in 1940 under the name Coche-Bizouard, and farms parcels across seven Côte de Beaune villages. Pair with roast chicken and mushrooms, lobster in cream sauce, or a well-aged Comté.
