Vintage2023
Domaine Jacques Tissot is a family estate in the Jura founded in 1962 by Jacques Tissot from a plot of vines inherited from his father, now carried on by the next generation, Philippe and Nathalie Tissot, across thirty hectares in and around Arbois. This Arbois Chardonnay is made using sustainable viticulture that limits phytosanitary products through soil work and cover crops. Unlike the region's oxidative Savagnin-based wines, this Chardonnay is typically vinified in a fresher, more classic style, showing citrus, orchard fruit and the Jura's characteristic mineral, slightly nutty edge. The 2023 vintage pairs well with Comté cheese, roast chicken or Jura specialties like poulet au vin jaune.
