Every wine in our cellar with a bottle priced above €200: Burgundy grands crus and leading premiers crus, prestige Champagne, Bordeaux and Ribera del Duero.
This collection gathers every wine in our cellar with at least one bottle offered above €200, prices including French VAT. It updates itself as prices and vintages change; a wine offered in several vintages or formats, including magnums, appears here if one of them passes the threshold.
Most of these wines are Burgundy grands crus. In red: the Chambertin group in Gevrey, Bonnes-Mares and Musigny in Chambolle, Clos de Vougeot, Échezeaux, Richebourg, Romanée-Saint-Vivant and La Grande Rue. In white: Montrachet, Chevalier-Montrachet, Bâtard-Montrachet, Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet and Corton-Charlemagne. Alongside them sit leading premiers crus of Vosne-Romanée, Gevrey-Chambertin and Chambolle-Musigny, prestige and vintage Champagne, classified Saint-Émilion and Pessac-Léognan, Bartolo Mascarello's Barolo and Vega Sicilia from Ribera del Duero.
At this level, each bottle is a single, often limited, wine, and many are held in one or two bottles only. Choose the vineyard for style and the grower for interpretation: a Clos de Vougeot from Hudelot-Noëllat and one from Michel Gros are two different wines. Check the vintage and the cellaring estimate on each product page before buying for drinking soon.
Our cellar notes give 12 to 30 years for most red grands crus and 10 to 25 years for the whites. Store bottles lying down at a stable 12 to 14 °C, away from light and vibration. Serve reds at 16 to 18 °C and whites at 12 to 14 °C.
Bottles at this level are often allocated in small numbers. To be told when a wine returns, or to ask about a specific vintage, write to the concierge on WhatsApp or at contact@arcanacabinet.com.
