Bordeaux
Bordeaux here is a focused selection rather than an exhaustive one, spanning the Left Bank — Margaux, Haut-Médoc, Saint-Estèphe, Listrac-Médoc, Moulis and Pessac-Léognan — and the Right Bank in Saint-Émilion Grand Cru and Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux, plus sweet Barsac.
Left Bank blends are led by Cabernet Sauvignon and built for long ageing; Right Bank wines are Merlot-dominant and generally approachable earlier. Châteaux represented include Angélus, Cheval Blanc, Brillette, Belle-Vue and Cap de Faugères.
