Every wine in our cellar with a bottle priced between €50 and €100: Burgundy villages and premiers crus, northern Rhône, Champagne and more.
This collection gathers every wine in our cellar with at least one bottle offered between €50 and €100, prices including French VAT. It updates itself as prices and vintages change; a wine offered in several vintages or formats appears here if one of them falls within the range.
This is the core of our list. In Burgundy, it covers the village wines of the best-known communes, Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny, Vosne-Romanée, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Pommard, Volnay, Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet, and the premiers crus of Beaune, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Santenay, Saint-Aubin, Chablis and the Côte Chalonnaise. In the Rhône, Saint-Joseph, Cornas and Condrieu. In Champagne, grower and house cuvées. In the Jura, single-parcel Chardonnay and Savagnin.
For red Burgundy, this range allows a direct comparison of villages: a Gevrey beside a Chambolle, or a Pommard beside a Volnay, from the same vintage. For white, set a Meursault, a Puligny and a Chassagne side by side. For a single site at a gentler price, look to the premiers crus of Saint-Aubin, Santenay, Savigny-lès-Beaune or Givry.
Our cellar notes give 5 to 12 years for most village wines and 6 to 18 years for the premiers crus at this level. Serve reds at 16 to 18 °C, after 20 to 30 minutes in a decanter when young, and whites at 12 to 14 °C.
